Now Hiring: Forklift Operator – Central Austin
Location: Central Austin, TX
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Starting Pay: $18.00/hour
A well-established supply company in Central Austin is seeking a reliable and motivated Stager / Forklift Operator to join their team. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity for someone eager to learn and grow with a company that values hard work and dedication.
Position Overview:

Assemble products such as office chairs and desks
-
Move and stage materials to designated production areas
-
Operate a sit-down forklift approximately 10–15% of the time
-
Pick and deliver materials throughout the warehouse
-
Occasionally use a forklift to move and dispose of 55 lb barrels
-
Work outdoors in a supply yard when needed
-
Remain on your feet throughout the day and lift up to 75 lbs
-
Use a measuring tape accurately down to a 1/16 of an inch
Requirements:
-
At least one year of sit-down forklift experience
-
Previous warehouse experience
-
Basic knowledge of maintenance or assembly preferred, but not required
-
Strong work ethic and willingness to be trained
-
Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments
Compensation & Benefits:
-
$18.00/hour to start during the first 90 days
-
Upon conversion (first of the month following 30 days):
-
$400/month toward health insurance (HSA debit card or traditional plan)
-
Accrual of up to 2 weeks PTO annually (increases to 3 weeks after 1 year)
-
401(k) with up to 5% company match when contributing 6%, fully vested on day one through Safe Harbor
-
This position is ideal for someone who is hands-on, dependable, and ready to be part of a growing team. You'll receive training directly from the lead Maintenance Technician.
