Job Description
Hire Up Staffing is helping our client in Hanford, California, fill a Government Funding Administrator position.
The Government Funding Administrator will join a collaborative team at Innovative Ag Services to help agricultural producers leverage key government funding opportunities. This role requires either existing expertise or a willingness to develop comprehensive knowledge of funding programs, such as those offered by USDA, CDFA, SJVAPCD, and more.Â
Schedule:Â Monday through Friday
Salary:Â $22-$30/hr.
Employment type: Long term, temp-to-hire
Responsibilities for the Government Funding Administrator:
- Stay informed about all government funding programs available to agricultural producers in Central California.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and systems to ensure clients are aware of funding opportunities.
- Create and update internal processes related to government funding services.
- Establish and maintain relationships with government agencies to maximize value for clients.
- Research and prepare for new funding programs actively.
- Participate in department and all-staff meetings.
- Oversee data management, ensuring proper retention, protection, and transfer of client information.
- Assist clients with the funding application process and project management for approved funding.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and maintain strong networks and relationships.
- Provide support for various local, regional, and state programs and grants.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, along with experience in government funding or project management.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and effective communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on problem-solving, integrity, and adaptability.
