Job Description
Hire Up Staffing is seeking a Grinder for one of our valued clients in Hayward, CA. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity offering stable hours and competitive pay.
Pay Rate: $21.00 – $23.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
Location: Hayward, CA
Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain grinding machines to finish parts and materials
-
Use a measuring tape to verify dimensions and ensure accuracy
-
Perform precision measuring with micrometers and calipers (preferred)
-
Inspect materials and finished products for quality and consistency
-
Follow work orders, blueprints, and safety guidelines
-
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Requirements:
-
Previous experience operating grinders or similar machinery (preferred)
-
Must have measuring tape experience
-
Preferably experience with micrometers and calipers
-
Ability to read and interpret measurements accurately
-
Strong attention to detail and quality
-
Ability to lift up to [insert lbs] and stand for long shifts
-
Reliable, safety-conscious, and a team player
