Job Description
Location: Clearlake, CA
Job Summary:
Oversee departmental customer service and business processes. Performs a broad range of administrative and clerical duties in support of department operations. Directs workflow. Maintains a consistent and professional appearance in all communications in written and verbal form. Assists with research and provides administrative support to special projects
Schedule:
- Day Shift
- Monday – Friday. 8am – 5pm.
- 26 Week Assignment
Pay:
- $24.50 DOE
Essential Job Functions:
- Performs general receptionist duties. Maintains department records, reports and statistics. Maintains patient medical records, and all related documents and administrative reports. Oversees supplies and equipment inventories, department costs and other budgetary information, and personnel and other office files.
- Manages intake and referrals, insurance authorizations and tracking. Manages Electronic Medical Records (EMR) orders, including sending, receiving and retrievals.
- Mails/distributes all physician orders and Point of Care (POCs) for physician signature daily.
- Prepare all departmental memos, agendas, minutes and reports. Copies, distributes and files reports/memos/records as requested.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High School Education/GED or Equivalent
- Experience in Medical Office
- No Job Jumping
- Scheduling Experience
- Must be able to pass medical screenings
- Must be able to pass background check.
- Bilingual - Preferred
