Job Title: Area Manager III
Location: Multiple offices within Tulare County
This is a salaried exempt position paying $78,156 annually with amazing benefits!

Overview:
A prominent property management company in Tulare County is seeking a skilled Area Manager III to oversee the administration and management of properties within the region. The ideal candidate will ensure that operations comply with company policies and meet local, state, and federal requirements. If you have a background in property management, leadership, and a passion for community service, this could be the perfect role for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise project staff and maintenance teams.
- Maintain positive tenant relations, addressing concerns and enforcing policies.
- Operate within budget limitations and submit required fiscal and statistical reports.
- Ensure the upkeep and improvement of property grounds and buildings.
- Conduct tenant screenings, eligibility reviews, and perform unit inspections.
- Execute leases and advise tenants on occupancy, addressing delinquent accounts when necessary.
- Approve vendor proposals for services and manage utility conservation efforts.
- Develop and implement safety and maintenance programs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; 2 years of college coursework preferred (public administration or social science focus).
- 2+ years of property management experience or comparable experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office and property management software.
- Knowledge of housing maintenance, repair, and budget procedures.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience supervising maintenance crews and handling public housing regulations.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with tenants, staff, and the public.
Physical Requirements:
- Valid California driver’s license and clean DMV record.
- Regular attendance and the ability to manage stressful situations professionally.
