Job Description
Hire Up Staffing is looking for an Industrial Engineer for a direct hire opportunity in Fresno CA! If you have a degree in Industrial Engineering or Industrial Technology OR at least 5 years of engineering experience, we want to hear from you! Salary range is $70K-$85K, DOE plus a competitive benefits package.
Typical Duties:

Work Order Development: Review quotes, specifications, and sales orders to develop detailed work orders for manufacturing and engineering teams to efficiently build units.

Customer Print Layouts: Create customer print layouts as needed to convey the design of the units being manufactured.

Budget Assessment: Assess the feasibility of a project and collaborate with the sales team to adequately budget or flag projects as necessary.

Master Work Orders: Update the Master Work Order spreadsheet and ensure that all proper serial numbers are assigned by product type.

Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the engineering team to ensure communication processes and record-keeping align with sales quotes.

ERP Integration: Load work orders into our ERP system and formalize the necessary documentation.

MPS Updates: Update the Master Production Schedule (MPS) with work orders and maintain the status of all units throughout the build process.

Historical Data Analysis: Ability to check historical data and analyze how it relates to the current build design.

ECR Assessment: Analyze and determine if Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) from Production require approval.
Requirements:
-
A degree in Industrial Engineering or Industrial Technology OR 5 years of applicable engineering experience.

The ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-
Exceptional organizational skills and the drive to consistently meet deadlines.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Strong understanding of Bill of Materials, the ability to read technical engineering drawings and technical specifications, and a sound understanding of the manufacturing process.

Familiarity with DC electrical and hydraulic systems is a plus.

Ability to write technical work orders effectively.
