Job Description
We're currently on the lookout for a skilled Medical Biller or Claims Processor to join our esteemed client in Fresno, CA.
This full-time position offers flexible hours, either Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm or from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, with competitive compensation ranging from $18 to $22 per hour, depending on your experience.
After completing training, you'll enjoy a hybrid schedule with the flexibility to work from home a few days a week.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma/GED equivalent is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in processing medical claims in a computerized environment or 3 years of experience in medical billing.
- Ability to work from home, with access to a suitable home office setup including a reliable internet connection (if desired for the hybrid schedule).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage multiple groups efficiently.
- Process CMS-1500 and UB-04 claims accurately.
- Handle high-dollar claims effectively.
- Navigate JAA/BlueCard claims with precision.
- Interpret group SPD’s and implement benefits accordingly.
- Perform zero dollar adjustments proficiently.
- Maintain various reports and ensure data accuracy.
- Review, create, and process FOGBUGZ cases as needed.
- Utilize Anthem Blue Cross website for inquiries.
- Batch/Scan correspondence accurately.
- Stay updated with department communication via email.
- Track and manage spreadsheets for special projects.
- Uphold strict confidentiality standards at all times.
