- Provide effective legal representation in insurance defense matters, specifically focusing on first-party claims.
- Serve as first chair in trials, demonstrating proficiency and confidence in the courtroom.
- Handle a caseload of insurance defense matters efficiently and effectively, ensuring timely and favorable resolutions.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategy and decisions.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates, addressing concerns, and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams, including paralegals and support staff, to achieve successful case outcomes.
Juris Doctor (JD): Possession of a law degree from an accredited law school.
Bar Admission: Active license to practice law in the state of Florida.
Experience: 5-7 years of proven experience in insurance defense, with a focus on first-party claims.
Trial Experience: Demonstrated first chair trial experience, showcasing strong advocacy skills.
Analytical Skills: Excellent legal research and analytical abilities.
Communication: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.

Chelsea is an Ouachita Baptist University grad and prior to working at Hire Up she worked as a Director of Recruiting for a health care staffing agency. Chelsea has set a few goals for herself and those are to obtain her SHRM certificate and to hit a goal of $100K sales in a year! At Chelsea’s previous place of employment, her greatest accomplishment was having won AAA Texas Rookie of the Year in 2016.
