Job Description
Hire Up Staffing Services is currently looking for an Intake Coordinator Clerk for a client in the Visalia, CA area. This is a temp to hire opportunity with a starting pay of $17 - $20 DOE.Â
Job Responsibilities:
- Will work under direct supervision of the Clinical Pharmacists and Specialty Team Leader.
- Responsible for new Enteral patient intakes, collection of required clinical, verifying insurance, coding, pre-collections, coordinating initial delivery and nursing.
- Maintains communication with referral source and Enteral department, to assure necessary information is received and referral is processed in a timely manner.
- Responsible for the initial communication to Registered Dietician regarding consults and for organization and maintaining timely follow-up of nutritional consults.
- Responsible for insurance verification of scheduled refills on the Enteral Master List.
- Will assist with regular follow up calls for active patients including Enteral and specialty medications as needed.
- Will assist with obtaining and submitting updated clinical required for reauthorizations and clinical review.
- Will assist with the transfer of Enteral patients to other providers as necessary, following through until patient care has been established.
- Will be responsible for closing a patient’s file at the end of therapy and ensuring the pick up of any equipment has been processed.
- Provides clerical support for the pharmacy office and specialty team as needed.
- Performs other related tasks as determined by the Pharmacy Manager, and/or Specialty Team Leader
