Job Description

HireUp Staffing is seeking a licensed
ELECTRICIAN
to manage the electrical equipment within a
government health facility in Oceanside, CA.

LOCATION: Oceanside, California
SCHEDULE: Full Time- ALL shifts
PAY: $29.39 an hour (plus $4.60 Health & Wellness)


What You Will Be Doing:
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical and electronic equipment
  • Assist with general building upkeep including plumbing, HVAC, mechanical systems, doors, auto-doors, and other facility components
  Skills Our Electrician Needs:
  • Ability to operate all hand and power tools, test equipment and shop machines, aerial booms, and shop machines
  • Knowledge and skill to maintain and repair exterior and interior electrical wiring and components
  • All appropriate safety practices for working with hand and power tools
  • Read and comprehend schematics, blueprints, and shop drawings
  • Proficient communication, verbally and in writing
  • Ability to troubleshoot systems using electronics, computers, and software systems
  • Use of computers for checking email, data entry on CMMS, and training
  • Electrical, electronics, and basic knowledge of HVACR systems, safe operation and repairs and electrical troubleshooting
Requirements:
  • Must be able to successfully pass as required a federal, state, or local government's background investigation
  • Must hold a Journeyman Electrician License
  • 1-2 years of experience in electronic repair and maintenance of fire doors and security alarm systems
  • Completed certified apprenticeship program (preferred)
