Job Description
ELECTRICIAN
to manage the electrical equipment within a
government health facility in Oceanside, CA.
LOCATION: Oceanside, California
SCHEDULE: Full Time- ALL shifts
PAY: $29.39 an hour (plus $4.60 Health & Wellness)
What You Will Be Doing:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical and electronic equipment
- Assist with general building upkeep including plumbing, HVAC, mechanical systems, doors, auto-doors, and other facility components
- Ability to operate all hand and power tools, test equipment and shop machines, aerial booms, and shop machines
- Knowledge and skill to maintain and repair exterior and interior electrical wiring and components
- All appropriate safety practices for working with hand and power tools
- Read and comprehend schematics, blueprints, and shop drawings
- Proficient communication, verbally and in writing
- Ability to troubleshoot systems using electronics, computers, and software systems
- Use of computers for checking email, data entry on CMMS, and training
- Electrical, electronics, and basic knowledge of HVACR systems, safe operation and repairs and electrical troubleshooting
- Must be able to successfully pass as required a federal, state, or local government's background investigation
- Must hold a Journeyman Electrician License
- 1-2 years of experience in electronic repair and maintenance of fire doors and security alarm systems
- Completed certified apprenticeship program (preferred)
