Job Description
Laser Welding Operator
Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Laser Welding Operator to join a growing manufacturing team. This position is responsible for operating laser welding equipment to produce high-quality welded components in a safe, efficient, and accurate manner. The ideal candidate has previous welding experience, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining quality standards.
Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate industrial laser welding equipment.

Weld metal components according to engineering specifications and production requirements.

Inspect completed welds to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance with standards.

Follow all workplace safety procedures and utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Meet daily production and performance goals.

Report equipment issues, quality concerns, or production delays to supervision.
Qualifications

Previous laser welding or related welding experience required.

Experience operating laser welding equipment in a manufacturing environment.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Ability to read and follow work instructions and production documentation.

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials weighing up to 50 pounds.

Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Regular use of welding equipment, hand tools, and required safety equipment.

Exposure to typical manufacturing conditions including noise, heat, and moving machinery.
