Logistics Coordinator
Job Description
This is a long-term hybrid opportunity located in Arvin, CA.
Core Responsibilities

Oversee and manage a high-volume communication workflow, ensuring timely responses and accurate documentation.

Coordinate domestic transportation activities with suppliers, carriers, and warehouse teams.

Arrange and monitor outbound and inbound shipments to ensure cost efficiency and on-time performance.

Support multiple distribution locations with daily freight scheduling and tracking.
-
Collaborate cross-functionally with finance and customer-facing teams to resolve shipping discrepancies or billing concerns.

Develop and maintain strong working relationships with third-party carriers and logistics partners.
-
Mitigate potential supply chain disruptions through proactive communication and contingency planning.

Utilize reporting tools and system data to analyze transportation performance and recommend improvements.

Manage specialized customer portals and high-priority accounts with attention to detail and professionalism.

Secure competitive freight quotes for LTL, volume, and full truckload shipments and coordinate pickups accordingly.

Ensure inbound freight from vendors arrives accurately and on schedule to designated facilities.
Preferred Qualifications -
3–5 years of experience in transportation, distribution, or supply chain coordination.

Experience handling regulated or specialty freight is a plus.

Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and transportation or ERP systems.

Working knowledge of distribution operations, inventory flow, and warehouse processes.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills across multiple departments.

Ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
