Job Description

 Hire Up Staffing is seeking a Logistics Coordinator for our client in Modesto, CA! This is a great opportunity offering a full time position and competitive rate between $24-$30 per hour. If you are a quick learner, math whiz, and thrive in problem solving then this is the job for you!


Schedule: 
  • Full Time
  • Variable shifts from 5am - 8pm. Will work some weekends and overtime.


Summary:

Your exceptional interpersonal skills, self-starter attitude and independent work style will allow you to handle and resolve internal and external conflicts, be organized and leverage your natural attention to detail. You will have the ability to develop and maintain a positive working relationship with employees, customer base, fuel suppliers and common carriers. You will thrive in a fast paced multitask environment that requires quick problem solving and research skills. Above average math aptitude is a must.


Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Purchase fuel based on market conditions
  • Monitor / Fuel purchasing for inventory managed customers (stations)
  • Schedule deliveries with common carriers
  • Manage supply contracts
  • Continuous communication/coordination with sales force and customers

Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of work experience and education.
