Hire Up Staffing – On Behalf of Our Valued Client
Hire Up Staffing is actively seeking a skilled Machine Assembler for a reputable client located in Fresno, CA. This position is ideal for a mechanically inclined individual who thrives in a hands-on manufacturing environment and is committed to quality and efficiency.
SCHEDULE: M-FÂ 5:30am -1:30pm with possible Saturdays OT
PAY: $19.00/HOURLY
Position Summary
The Machine Assembler will be responsible for assembling and testing industrial labeling machines, sub-assemblies, and electrical components to meet high-quality standards. The role includes both new assembly and remanufacturing tasks, with an emphasis on performance, safety, and timely production schedules. This is a non-supervisory position requiring strong attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Accountabilities
-
Assemble and test electro-mechanical equipment and sub-assemblies following mechanical drawings, schematics, and standard operating procedures.

Disassemble used equipment in preparation for remanufacturing.

Perform tasks with a strong focus on quality, safety, and timely delivery according to production targets.

Maintain accurate documentation in both manual and computerized systems.

Communicate effectively with the engineering team to resolve manufacturing issues.
-
Support continual improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives, including 5S.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Assemble industrial machinery and electrical components to exact specifications.

Install and connect wires, cables, motors, and other components using various tools and methods such as soldering and crimping.

Conduct functional and electrical testing with standard test equipment.

Diagnose and troubleshoot issues, performing corrective maintenance as needed.

Follow defect reporting processes and support root cause analysis when required.

Maintain cleanliness of work areas and proper condition of tools and company property.

Assist in team tasks and other production-related duties as assigned.
 Physical Demands

Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs).

Use of hands and arms to handle components and tools.
-
Visual demands include close, color, and peripheral vision as well as depth perception and focus adjustment.
Work Environment

Exposure to moving mechanical parts.

Moderate noise level.
