Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description
Salary: $23-$33 per hour
Shift: PM shift open to AM shift
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Description:
The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic works closely with the engineering and production teams and is involved in all maintenance activities on the premises. They are responsible for major repairs and upkeep of all production lines, aligning with department objectives and company strategic goals. The role entails consistently meeting external and internal customers’ needs and requirements by completing assignments on time and verifying effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance procedures according to the PM schedule and as directed by the Maintenance supervisor.
- Address unexpected maintenance events as assigned.
- Diagnose and replace faulty electrical elements of machines, including motors, relays, PLCs, and switches.
- Troubleshoot and repair machinery and equipment, including infrastructure and facilities.
- Contribute to production facility improvement projects.
- Manage spare parts inventory.
- Assist, as necessary, with production support activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment.
- Experience in performing general and preventive maintenance.
- Mechanical/electrical background with proficiency in hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial controls.
- Familiarity with maintenance software and Microsoft Office.
Skills:
- Knowledge of electric motors and controllers.
- PLC understanding.
- Ability to prioritize work and work without direct supervision.
- Provide customer service to all departments.
