Maintenance Mechanic

Salary: $23-$33 per hour Â

Schedule: Monday to Friday Â
Description:
Join our team as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic, working closely with engineering and production to maintain our production lines and facilities. Your role will be crucial in ensuring all machinery is running smoothly, aligning with our company’s strategic goals. You will be responsible for major repairs, preventive maintenance, and addressing unexpected issues, all while meeting the needs of both external and internal customers.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance procedures as per the PM schedule and Maintenance Supervisor’s directions.
- Address unexpected maintenance issues promptly.
- Diagnose and replace faulty electrical components, including motors, relays, PLCs, and switches.
- Troubleshoot and repair machinery and equipment, including infrastructure and facilities.
- Contribute to production facility improvement projects.
- Manage the spare parts inventory.
- Provide support to production activities as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment.
- Experience in general and preventive maintenance.
- Mechanical/electrical background with proficiency in hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial controls.
- Familiarity with maintenance software and Microsoft Office.
Skills:
- Knowledge of electric motors and controllers.
- Understanding of PLCs.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
- Strong customer service skills for interdepartmental support.
Job Classification: Full Time, Hourly Non-Exempt (with excellent benefits)
