Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description
Job Duties-
- Ensure correct and safe operation of equipment and machinery
- Troubleshoot and maintain side loaders/forklifts, CNC Machines, welding equipment, generators, grinders, saws, engines, conveyors, electrical systems, pneumatic tools, and hydraulic equipment
- Identify faulty equipment through observation and testing metrics
- Source replacement parts and perform repairs
- Work with the facility manager to continually update the production process and system software
- Attend daily shift meetings to prioritize work orders and minimize downtime.
- Assess the condition of used parts using micrometers, calipers and specifications
- Adhere to company Lock out /Tag out procedures
- Maintain parts and tools inventory
- Prepare maintenance reports and summary presentations using daily activity logs, analysis, and trends
- Maintain electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical knowledge via ongoing training, industry workshops, and technical reading
Experience Required
- Minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance and manufacturing equipment experience required
- Advanced understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanics
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and equipment
- Capable of operating hand, power and specialized tools
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Team player and willing to work with minimal supervision
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- High school diploma or GED
