Maintenance Mechanic
Job Description
Hire Up Staffing is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our client’s team in Long Beach, MS!
This 2nd shift role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on problem solving, thrives in an industrial environment, and is dedicated to keeping operations running safely and efficiently.
Pay: $24.00+ per hour (based on experience)
Key Responsibilities:

Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure peak performance of plant equipment.

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and electronic issues.

Support a safe and clean workplace, following all safety standards and procedures.

Partner with operations to maintain equipment at maximum efficiency.

Complete a variety of tasks including equipment repair, minor construction, electrical work, painting, and plumbing.

Maintain detailed attention to accuracy and quality in all tasks.

Hands-on experience with industrial equipment, electrical, or mechanical maintenance.

Strong problem-solving abilities with the initiative to take ownership of tasks.

Dependable, flexible, and committed to safety.

Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and work in a physically active role (standing, kneeling, climbing, etc.).

Comfortable working in an industrial setting with noise, vibration, and moving equipment (PPE provided as needed).
