Responsibilities:
- Provide direction and guidance to employees, orchestrating the repair of industrial machinery based on electrical codes, manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Dynamically schedule and delegate daily tasks for maintaining production equipment through work orders, ensuring prompt completion.
- Spearhead the scheduling of maintenance technicians and maintain a comprehensive database for equipment calibrations, optimizing efficiency.
- Lead and support Lean Manufacturing initiatives, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Diagnose and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components, employing advanced testing equipment and collaborating with maintenance experts.
- Work collaboratively with the operations team to identify equipment and process deficiencies, making modifications to achieve key objectives.
- Manage spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment inventories, establishing strategic vendor relationships to optimize costs.
- Prepare insightful reports, analyze data, and make recommendations for operational enhancements, showcasing your strategic thinking.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, demonstrating a strong educational foundation.
- Showcase previous technical supervisory experience, highlighting effective leadership and managerial skills.
- Exhibit expertise in troubleshooting mechanical systems with electronic controls, showcasing a problem-solving mindset.
- Bring five years of electrical and mechanical experience with manufacturing equipment, emphasizing your proficiency.
- Possess digital controls troubleshooting experience, showcasing your adaptability to modern technologies.
- Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills, ensuring clear communication within the team.
- Display proficiency in using computer applications such as Word and Excel, reflecting your technological aptitude.
