Job Description

Maintenance Technician – Overnight Shift
Schedule: 8:00 PM – 5:00 AM
Additional Availability: Occasional Sunday work for preventive maintenance
Position Summary
We’re looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician who thrives in a hands-on, production-driven environment. This role is critical to keeping equipment, systems, and facilities operating safely and efficiently. You’ll be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and supporting continuous operations through proactive maintenance and technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:

  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems

  • Operate and interact with HMI systems tied to automated and robotic equipment

  • Identify equipment malfunctions, determine root causes, and implement effective corrective actions

  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life

  • Support production through welding (TIG, MIG, ARC), fabrication, and general machine repairs

  • Partner with production and operations teams to prioritize maintenance needs and improve reliability

  • Manage spare parts usage and assist with inventory tracking to control costs

  • Occasionally support other facilities with maintenance assistance or technical training opportunities
Physical & Work Requirements
This position is physically demanding and requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and work in active production areas. Regular lifting of materials exceeding 50 pounds may be required. Flexibility to work weekends as needed is important.
Required Qualifications
Successful candidates will bring:

  • High school diploma or GED, along with completed apprenticeship training or equivalent hands-on experience

  • At least 4 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting working with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems

  • Working knowledge of PLCs and automated equipment

  • Strong problem-solving skills, professional integrity, and a self-directed work ethic

  • Clear communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally

  • Experience using CMMS platforms and maintaining parts inventory
Preferred Experience

  • Associate degree in industrial maintenance, electrical technology, mechanical systems, or a related field
