Maintenance Technician II Needed in Porterville!

The Hire Up Staffing team is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician II for a prominent client in Tulare County. This position is located in the city of Porterville. Competitive starting pay of $21 - $22 depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Maintenance Technician II, you'll be an essential part of our client's team, responsible for various tasks such as:
  • General maintenance of rental units, ensuring they are in excellent condition.
  • Performing cleaning and painting duties while efficiently operating power and hand tools.
  • Handling basic plumbing, electrical, and construction work as needed.
  • Conducting semi-skilled repair work on rental units to maintain their functionality.
  • Operating and performing maintenance on power machinery.
  • Keeping all equipment in optimal working condition.
  • Maintaining the grounds, which includes tasks like mowing, spraying, fertilizing, and chemical weed control.


To excel in this role, you should possess:
  • A high school education or equivalent.
  • A valid California driver's license.
  • Previous experience in a similar maintenance role.
  • The ability to pass a drug and background check.
  • Willingness to successfully complete an in-person maintenance assessment.
