The Hire Up Staffing team is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician II for a prominent client in Tulare County. This position is located in the city of Porterville. Competitive starting pay of $21 - $22 depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Maintenance Technician II, you'll be an essential part of our client's team, responsible for various tasks such as:
- General maintenance of rental units, ensuring they are in excellent condition.
- Performing cleaning and painting duties while efficiently operating power and hand tools.
- Handling basic plumbing, electrical, and construction work as needed.
- Conducting semi-skilled repair work on rental units to maintain their functionality.
- Operating and performing maintenance on power machinery.
- Keeping all equipment in optimal working condition.
- Maintaining the grounds, which includes tasks like mowing, spraying, fertilizing, and chemical weed control.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- A high school education or equivalent.
- A valid California driver's license.
- Previous experience in a similar maintenance role.
- The ability to pass a drug and background check.
- Willingness to successfully complete an in-person maintenance assessment.
