Job Description

Hire Up Staffing has partnered with a well-established packaging and manufacturing company in Dallas, TX, and is seeking proactive leaders to oversee maintenance operations and drive efficiency within the facility. If you're experienced in troubleshooting equipment issues, managing preventive maintenance programs, and fostering a safe work environment, we want to hear from you!

Position: Maintenance Technician 

Pay: Starts at $22/hr. + OT; DOE

Avail. Shift:

2nd Shift, Mon. - Thurs., 5 p.m. - 3 a.m.; 1/2 day Fri. (Will train on 1st shift, M-F; 7 a.m. - 5 p.m.)   
    
Responsibilities: 
  • Lead maintenance tasks across all shifts, ensuring seamless facility operations.
  • Collaborate with operators and supervisors to address equipment challenges  promptly. Working with Zerand 55" Press (roll-fed die cutter), prior knowledge and/or experience preferred. Basic industrial web-fed press maintenance exp. is acceptable. 
  • Execute timely repairs to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules.
  • Plan, schedule, and supervise maintenance activities to optimize productivity.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities and equipment records.
  • Train and supervise maintenance technicians and team leads.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a healthy work environment.
  • Coordinate with external resources when needed.
Qualifications: 
  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience or training preferred.
  • Ability to interpret technical documents and manuals.
  • Experience on maintaining Zerand web fed press is preferred.
  • Strong mathematical skills for basic calculations and measurements.
  • Proficient in problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Physically capable of meeting job demands.

Pnuematics and hydraulics, some Electrical, and industrial converting background on heavy machinery, specifically roll-fed presses.
