Maintenance Technician
Job Description
Must have 3 years of multi-housing maintenance experience within the last 5-8 years.
Hire Up Staffing is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a client in the Visalia area. The pay rate starts at $21/hour, depending on experience.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
- General maintenance of rental units - 135 units on primary location and backing up other property with 145 units
- Working with a partner tech for each property (2 on-site)
- Cleaning
- Painting
- Light Electrical of changing fans, fixtures, lighting, switches, etc.
- Basic plumbing such as pipes under sinks, toliets, garbage disposals and possibly cap & flag outside sprinklers
- May do semi-skilled repair work on rental units
- Maintain clean grounds by throwing trash (no landscaping)
- No ladders or chemicals used
- High school education or equivalent
- Prior experience in a similar role
- Valid CA driver’s license
- Ability to pass a background check
