Marketing Assistant – Direct Hire
? Location: Fresno, CA
? Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM (30-minute lunch)
? Salary: $25.00–$27.00/hour (DOE)

Hire Up Staffing is partnering with a well-established client in Fresno, CA to find a proactive and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant. This direct hire opportunity offers a full-time schedule, competitive pay, and the chance to work alongside a dynamic marketing team in a collaborative and mission-driven environment.
Position Summary:
The Marketing Assistant provides administrative and marketing support to the Executive Projects Director, event partners, and a creative agency. This role plays a key part in executing marketing campaigns, coordinating deadlines, maintaining organized digital assets, and contributing to the success of promotional materials across events and branded platforms.
Key Responsibilities: Marketing Support & Communication

Build and maintain strong relationships with internal team members and external event partners

Liaise with the creative agency to communicate marketing assets, timelines, revisions, and deadlines

Participate in marketing meetings and follow up on action items

Organize and maintain digital file structures for creative and promotional assets

Proofread marketing content and support quality control for branding and consistency

Collaborate with event partners to collect creative content and coordinate promotional schedules

Assist in the preparation of brochures, website content, and partner dashboards

Review and deliver final marketing materials

Monitor the success of event marketing efforts and provide improvement suggestions

Assist with vendor co-op reporting and other general partner-facing campaigns
-
Coordinate with creative teams to update and manage event landing pages

Oversee inventory, ordering, and design for branded merchandise and online store items
-
Review and process invoices related to product orders

3–5+ years of relevant administrative and/or marketing experience
-
Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines

Exceptional organization, communication, and proofreading skills
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Docs (Mac and PC preferred)

Experience with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Basecamp, Wrike) is a plus

Professional demeanor in all partner and vendor communications

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field preferred

Reports directly to the Executive Projects Director

Collaborates closely with the internal Marketing Team and external Creative Agency

No direct managerial responsibilities, but may assist in training or guiding coworkers on tasks
