Job Description
Job Title: Part-Time Social Media Coordinator
Location: Houston, TX (Onsite, No Remote)
Pay Rate: $18/hour
Schedule: Flexible, with an ideal schedule of 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM, Monday–Friday
About the Role
We are seeking a creative and tech-savvy Social Media Coordinator to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is perfect for someone who loves storytelling through social platforms, understands branding, and has a knack for design and video editing. You’ll be responsible for creating and publishing engaging content that highlights our company, services, and culture while growing our online presence.
Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day content across major social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.)

Create eye-catching graphics, videos, and promotional materials using Canva

Write and edit captions, posts, and short-form content tailored to each platform

Assist with social media calendars, campaigns, and performance tracking

Monitor engagement, respond to comments/messages, and support brand consistency

Stay up to date on social media trends and suggest creative ideas
Qualifications

At least 2 years of professional experience managing social media platforms

Proficiency with Canva for both graphic design and video editing

Strong communication and writing skills with an eye for detail

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks at once

Previous experience with scheduling tools and analytics platforms is a plus
