Material Handler
Job Description
Hire Up Staffing is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler for a client in Auburn, WA. This is an excellent opportunity for a dependable and motivated individual looking to join a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with forklifts, order fulfillment, and material handling while maintaining a strong focus on safety and accuracy.
Pay Rate:
$20.00 per hour
Schedule:
• Monday – Friday
• 12:30 PM – 9:00 PM
Responsibilities:
• Fill customer orders, including wire cutting and pipe order fulfillment
• Operate hydraulic wire cutting equipment safely and efficiently
• Load and unload freight and delivery trucks
• Operate warehouse equipment including reach trucks, sit-down forklifts, and stand-up forklifts
• Utilize handheld RF scanners and warehouse operating systems
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization
• Follow inventory best practices and warehouse procedures
• Assist with additional warehouse duties as assigned
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
• Previous warehouse experience preferred
• Forklift experience required
• Experience operating reach trucks, sit-down forklifts, and stand-up forklifts preferred
• Ability to learn RF scanners and warehouse management systems
• Strong communication skills and team-oriented attitude
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and grow
• Commitment to workplace safety and productivity
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to repeatedly lift and pull materials weighing 50+ pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment
• Ability to work occasional overtime, evening, or weekend hours based on business needs
