Job Description
Hire Up Staffing is currently seeking a knowledgeable and reliable Maintenance Tech to join a fast-paced manufacturing team in Gulfport, MS. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with hands-on experience in industrial maintenance who thrives in a collaborative and high-performance environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform scheduled maintenance and routine inspections on production equipment to ensure smooth operation.

Diagnose and resolve issues related to mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Utilize and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) as needed.

Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals to guide maintenance efforts.

Partner with production teams to reduce downtime and support continuous improvement.

Keep accurate records of work performed, including maintenance logs and inventory usage.

Support technical evaluations for equipment upgrades or replacements.

Maintain a safe work environment by following company safety standards and OSHA guidelines.
Qualifications:

Prior experience as an industrial mechanic or electrician in a manufacturing setting.

Solid understanding of industrial maintenance techniques and tools.

Familiarity with PLC systems is strongly preferred.

Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics in English.

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Military experience is a plus, particularly for candidates with mechanical or electrical backgrounds.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Must be available and willing to work overtime as needed.
