Medical Scribe
Job Description
Hire Up Staffing is searching for an experienced Medical Scribe for a well-known local medical group for an on-site position in person position.Not remote.
Schedule:
Part-time, approximately 20 hours per week. The schedule will vary week to week based on the doctor’s patient schedule, so flexibility is required.
Pay:
$19 – $24 per hour, depending on experience
Responsibilities:

Assist healthcare providers with documenting patient medical histories, physical exams, and treatment plans

Accurately transcribe medical information into electronic health records (EHR)

Coordinate with healthcare team members to ensure documentation is complete and timely

Maintain strict patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines

Communicate with patients to gather or clarify medical information as needed
Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of medical administrative experience required (OB experience preferred to understand terminology)

Previous experience working as a Medical Scribe strongly preferred

Typing speed of 45+ WPM required (typing certificate required with screening)

Knowledge of medical terminology

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Proficient computer skills and experience working with EHR systems

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
