About the Role:
Hire Up, a leading staffing agency, is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant on behalf of a reputable medical office in the Clovis, CA area. This office is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and values teamwork, compassion, and excellence.
Job Description:
The medical office is looking for a competent Medical Assistant with experience in Family Practice or Internal Medicine. The ideal candidate will assist doctors, support patients, and efficiently handle tasks using Epic software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist doctors during patient examinations and procedures
- Take and record vital signs and medical histories
- Prepare examination rooms and equipment
- Administer medications and injections as directed by the physician
- Perform basic laboratory tests and EKGs
- Schedule appointments and manage patient records using Epic software
- Provide patient education and support
- Ensure compliance with medical protocols and safety standards
Requirements:
- Medical Assistant certification or equivalent education
- 2-5 years of back-office medical assisting experience (pay range: $17.00 – $18.49 per hour)
- 5+ years of back-office medical assisting experience (pay range: $18.50 – $21.00 per hour)
- Experience in Family Practice or Internal Medicine
- Proficiency in Epic software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Schedule:
- Part-time, Monday to Friday
- 4-5 hours a day
