Job Description


Hire Up Staffing & Healthcare is looking for a back office Medical Assistant, interested in joining a recognized cardiology practice, in and around the Conroe, Texas area. 

Hours: M-F 8-5pm  (must be flexible) 

Responsibilities
  • Greet patients, schedule patients, answer phones, and visitors in a pleasant manner
  • Prepare examination rooms for patients before and in between visits
  • Escort patients to examination rooms
  • Interviews patients, measures vital signs (i.e., pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height), and records information on patients' charts
  • May be required to perform EKGs on patients
  • Send out prescriptions and complete prior authorizations for prescriptions
  • Will be required to float to other clinics as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
