Job Description
Hire Up Staffing & Healthcare is looking for a Medical Assistant that is interested in joining a recognized healthcare company in Missouri City, TX.
Pay: $17/hr (depending on experience)
Hours: M-Th, 8am-5pm and Fri, 8am-4pm (must be flexible)
Responsibilities
- Prepare examination rooms for patients before and in between visits
- Escort patients to examination rooms
- Interviews patients, measures vital signs (i.e., pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height), and records information on patients' charts
- Send out prescriptions and complete prior authorizations for prescriptions
- May be required to float to other clinics as needed
Qualifications
- Certified/Registered MA strongly preferred.
- Must have successfully completed a Medical Assisting program from an accredited university.
