Position Overview
Hire Up Staffing is seeking an experienced and dependable Medical Assistant for a full-time opportunity in Turlock, CA. Responsibilities
- Assist providers with patient care and clinical procedures
- Perform back-office medical assisting duties
- Take and document patient vital signs and medical histories
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
- Assist with room preparation, stocking, and maintaining a clean clinical environment
- Follow all applicable HIPAA, safety, and infection-control procedures
- Provide professional and compassionate patient service
- Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience
- Ophthalmology/eye-care experience is preferred
- Hands-on back-office clinical experience strongly preferred
- Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced medical environment
- $17–$19/hour, depending on experience
