Key Responsibilities
Phone & Scheduling Management
- Handle a high volume of incoming calls with professionalism and efficiency.
- Schedule and manage patient procedures and appointments in a timely manner.
- Conduct outbound appointment reminders to ensure patient adherence.
Billing & Insurance Coordination
- Enter and verify insurance plan details for scheduled procedures.
- Ensure accurate procedure coding and billing within the NextGen system.
- Assist patients with billing inquiries and insurance-related questions.
Administrative & Office Support
- Answer and manage multi-line phones efficiently.
- Collaborate with medical and administrative staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Maintain detailed records of appointments, insurance verifications, and billing transactions.
- Must have 2+ years of experience in procedure or surgery scheduling (must be listed as the title on the most recent job).
- Proficiency in NextGen (Super User level preferred).
- Strong knowledge of procedure billing, coding, and insurance verification.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Strong attention to accuracy and detail.
