Job Description
Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. (12-week minimum contract)
Summary:
As a Medical Customer Service-Call Center Representative, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our managed care customers receive the support and assistance they need. Whether it's through verbal or written communication, you'll be the face of the organization, providing expert guidance on plan coverage, benefits, and more.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clear and comprehensive information to customers regarding plan coverage and benefits, both verbally and in writing.
- Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions in the MIS system, ensuring a clear audit trail for reporting purposes.
- Assist in training and re-training new and current employees to ensure consistent service excellence.
- Manage incoming calls and written correspondence promptly and professionally, resolving issues and answering questions effectively.
- Triage phone requests to other departments such as Utilization Management and Provider Relations as needed.
- Exceptional understanding of benefits, products, and healthcare/insurance issues as they pertain to customers.
- Effective communication skills and proficiency in MIS systems, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- High school diploma required, with at least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
