Job Description
Location: Fresno, CA
Pay: $19-$20/hr
Schedule: Full-time, Temp-to-Hire
A large and well-established medical practice in Fresno is seeking a bilingual (Spanish-speaking) Medical Front Office Phone Operator to join the team. This person will need to thrive in a setting that is with heavy call volume. This role is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced medical setting, with strong potential for long-term growth.
Responsibilities:
- Answer and route back to back phone calls in a professional manner
- Greet and check in patients, verify insurance, and collect co-pays
- Schedule appointments and assist patients with inquiries
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality
- Support front office operations to ensure a smooth workflow
- Bilingual in Spanish and English – required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical front office/check-in role
- Experience with Epic, Intergy, and Access required (willing to train on Greenway)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy medical office
