Job Description
Hire Up Staffing is seeking a Full time Medical Records Receptionist for our client in Fresno, CA!
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm
Pay: 18.00 – 21.50 per hour depending on experience

Duties
- Maintain incoming and outgoing requests for medical records.
- Maintain patient records and update medical information as needed
- Return medical records to Iron Mountain.
- Medical authorizations.
- Handle patient inquiries with compassion and professionalism and provide excellent customer service.
- Assist with patient check-out as needed and requested.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a medical office setting preferred.
- Previous experience fulfilling medical record requests
- Bi-lingual Spanish/English with the ability to read, write and translate Spanish to English
- Knowledge of proper procedures for filing medical records.
- Ability to explain and fill out medical record request forms in both Spanish and English.
- Knowledge of proper procedure while making medical record requests from Iron Mountain.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- 3 years in an administrative setting.
- Proficient in using phone systems and office equipment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and privacy.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to adapt and take on additional duties as assigned.
