Hire Up Staffing has partnered with a leader in the modular building industry to find skilled Modular Mechanics in Grand Prairie, TX to join the team.

Hours: Monday - Thursday; 6:00am - 4:30pm 
Pay: $17-$18/hr. (Temp-to-hire)

Job Duties will Include:
  • Painting Interior and Exterior Surfaces 
  • Minor Plumbing and Electrical (Ceiling Fan, Electrical Plug, Drain Pipe, Traps, etc.)
  • Light Wood Framing work
  • Door and Window installation
  • Repair Rotten Wood/Siding
  • Wash Windows/Clean Gutters
  • Install Cabinets and Vanities
  • Install Laminate Flooring
Qualifications:
  • HS diploma or GED
  • Minimum 1 year carpentry and/or construction exp. 
  • Able to lift 50+ lbs. and be on feet an entire shift in a non-climate controlled environment.
  • Must be able to read a tape measure, basic math skills.
  • Knowledgeable in use of hand and power tools.
  • Commitment to safe work practices in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bilingual - English/Spanish a plus.
