Job Description
Job Title: Entry-Level Clerical / Receptionist
Location: Modesto, CA
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Start Date: Immediate – Monday, January 12
Pay: $18/hour
Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable, professional Entry-Level Clerical / Receptionist to support the front office of a Modesto-based business. This role is primarily focused on being present at the front desk to greet guests, answer phones, and assist customers as they arrive. While the office may be slower at times, it is important to have a friendly, attentive presence at all times.
This position does not require regular computer work, but prior office experience is helpful.
Key Responsibilities:

Greet and assist customers and visitors as they enter the office

Answer and direct incoming phone calls

Maintain a professional and welcoming front office environment

Provide basic assistance or direction to visitors as needed

Remain present and available at the front desk throughout the workday
Requirements:

At least 1 year of office or receptionist experience preferred

Strong communication and customer service skills

Professional appearance and demeanor

Dependable and punctual

Comfortable working in a quiet office environment
