Job Title: Office Manager
Location: Fresno, CA
Salary: $25-$30/hour or more depending on experience
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager for our construction company. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounting, payroll, and human resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounting: Manage all financial transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, budgeting, and reconciliations. Ensure accuracy and timely submission of financial reports.
- Payroll: Process weekly or bi-weekly payroll for construction employees, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. Handle payroll taxes, deductions, and employee benefits.
- Human Resources: Oversee all HR functions, including employee onboarding, benefits administration, maintaining personnel records, and addressing any employee concerns. Ensure compliance with labor laws and safety regulations.
- Administrative Support: Manage office supplies, scheduling, and correspondence. Act as the liaison between management and employees, fostering a positive work environment.
- Project Support: Assist in preparing project budgets and financial tracking related to construction activities.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in office management, preferably in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and payroll systems.
- Strong understanding of payroll regulations and HR practices.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to communicate effectively with management, employees, and vendors.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on accounting, payroll, and HR.
