Outside Sales Rep

Job Description
Pay $85k/yr. DOE
Responsibilities:
- Identify and prospect potential customers within the oil and gas industries.
- Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of leads to meet sales targets.
- Update the customer relationship management (CRM) database regularly with accurate information.
- Arrange and conduct meetings with potential clients to discuss their requirements.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them.
- Negotiate with potential and existing customers to close sales contracts.
- Collaborate with internal sales teams to prepare proposals and drive business opportunities.
- Participate in trade shows and networking events to promote company products and enhance brand recognition.
- Ensure timely and effective communication with clients regarding product updates and releases.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in outside sales.
- Comprehensive knowledge of electrical equipment installation requirements.
- Proficiency in using CRM software to manage customer relationships and sales activities.
- Strong negotiating, planning, and consultative sales skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong interpersonal relationships with clients.
- Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel daily within the Houston Area and surrounding cities.

Nicole has previously worked in various fields, from a Fish Grader and Forklift Operator at a Fish Cannery in Alaska to Medical Billing and Account Management for Anesthesiologists and Pain Management Clinics. She found staffing was her passion when she started credentialing and worked her way up in the industry. A work-related accomplishment she is proud of is being able to grow into roles of responsibility. Starting from an entry-level and learning the ropes of various jobs helped her become successful in management roles at almost every company she has worked at. One goal that Nicole has now is growth! She doesn't want to be in a position because it is comfortable. She wants to be challenged and succeed and be able to help and grow others.
