Job Description

Maybe you've always wanted to work at an airport. Hire Up Staffing  is partnered with a prominent business transportation entity out of DFW Airport and is looking for Part-Time Airport Greeters. Are you a college student, stay-at-home parent, retiree, or just looking to stay involved a few days a week and supplement your income? This could be the perfect position for you! 

Pay: $16/HR
Shift: Sun. - Wed.; 12 p.m. -8 p.m. OR 2 p.m. - 12 a.m. 
(Sun., Wed. & available for 1-2 add'l. weekdays on a Mon. or Tues., as needed)
Some Fridays at another location nearby.
(This is a part-time role offering at least 16 hours per week but can reach 24 - 32 hours.)

Responsibilities: 
  • Greet airport customer arrivals and assist them with their transportation reservation.
  • Accurately pull up their reservation and confirm in system using an iPad. 
  • Direct them to the proper pick-up spot to wait for their ride. 
  • Be customer facing and involved in small-talk as needed to make their wait time engaging.
Qualifications: 
  • Be professional and personable at all times. 
  • Demonstrate superb customer service and ability to adapt to changes in a busy environment. 
  • Strategic problem-solver if necessary. 
  • Prioritize, maintain attention to detail, ability to be flexible and pivot as needed. 
  • Must have a VALID TX ID/DL and your own transportation. 
  • Must be able to pass a background and drug screen prior to start.

Personable, knows what small talk is and how to carry it out in a professional manner, be environmentally aware of your audience, use a iPad, able to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment, maintain good attention to detail and calm under pressure.
