Job Summary:
Hire Up Staffing is currently seeking a Patient Financial Coordinator for our client located in Fresno, CA. The Patient Financial Coordinator is responsible for providing financial information to patients regarding their treatment plans, assisting with scheduling, and managing billing activities within a multi-doctor, specialty dental practice.
Summary of Essential Job Functions:

Prepare and present treatment plans to patients, conduct financial consultations, and assist patients and families with scheduling treatments according to the doctors' instructions.

Educate patients on their benefits, understanding the practice's contracts with dental/medical benefit plans.

Assist in developing and enforcing financial policies for the office, ensuring all agreements and transactions align with these policies.

Verify that treatment plans align with completed treatments before insurance processing.

Ensure appointments follow office policies and protocols, and that all documentation and prior authorizations are completed accurately.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date information on patient treatment at all times.

Collect payments from patients at the time of treatment and assist with billing procedures.

Ensure patients complete and update necessary paperwork prior to treatment.

Maintain accurate patient records and uphold confidentiality standards.

Address patient financial concerns, including unpaid balances, and ensure efficient payment arrangements.

Create and submit patient care letters to doctors.

Provide exceptional interpersonal and technical support to patients in all interactions.

Promote a success-oriented environment that reflects the practice's values.

Assist the front office team with other tasks as needed.

Perform general office duties and additional responsibilities as required.
Minimum Requirements:

At least one (1) year of experience in a front office role within a dental office.

Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Excellent customer and patient service skills.
Preferred Requirements:
-
One (1) year of prior experience as a treatment coordinator or scheduling coordinator in a dental office.
Compensation:
-
Pay range: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM; Friday, 6:45 AM - 3:45 PM
