Job Summary:
Hire Up Staffing is currently hiring for our established dental practice located in Fresno, CA. We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Patient Intake Coordinator to join our team. This role involves managing incoming calls, handling administrative tasks, and scheduling patient treatment for a multi-clinician, multi-location dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a key role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth intake process for patients.
Schedule:

Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
-
Friday: 6:45 AM - 3:45 PM
Pay Rate:
$19.00 - $23.00 per hour, depending on experience (DOE)
Summary of Essential Job Functions:

Manage Incoming Phone Calls: Handle all incoming calls, gathering necessary information to address the caller’s needs and directing them to the appropriate department.

Oversee Referrals and Updates: Manage incoming and outgoing patient referrals, ensuring all information is accurate and complete.

Schedule Patient Treatment: Schedule appointments and treatments in accordance with doctors’ orders, office policies, and scheduling protocols.

Communicate Provider Information: Provide information regarding provider schedules, on-call rotations, and availability to both patients and staff.

General Office Duties: Perform various office duties such as filing, data entry, and other administrative tasks to support the practice's operations.
Requirements:

Experience: Prior experience working in a call center or patient intake role is preferred.

Attention to Detail: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with excellent attention to detail.

Adaptability: Comfortable in a fast-paced environment that is constantly growing and changing.

Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction.

Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adjust communication style based on the audience.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (required).

Previous experience in a dental or healthcare setting is a plus.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other basic office equipment.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
