Responsibilities
- Manage a full caseload of personal injury matters from initial client intake through settlement or trial.
- Conduct client consultations and provide legal guidance throughout the litigation process.
- Draft pleadings, motions, demand packages, discovery responses, and other legal documents.
- Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and defense counsel.
- Communicate regularly with clients, medical providers, expert witnesses, and insurance adjusters.
- Coordinate depositions, mediations, arbitrations, hearings, and trial preparation.
- Prepare case strategies, review medical records, and evaluate damages.
- Collaborate with legal assistants, paralegals, and support staff to ensure efficient case management.
- Maintain accurate case files while meeting court deadlines and compliance requirements.
- Deliver exceptional client service with professionalism, compassion, and integrity.
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in New Jersey and in good standing.
- Previous experience handling personal injury litigation preferred.
- Strong negotiation, litigation, and legal writing skills.
- Ability to independently manage a high-volume caseload.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Experience with case management software is a plus.
- Trial experience is preferred but not required.
