Pipe Yard Associate
Job Description
Pay Rate: $20.00/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 1:30 PM – 10:30 PM
Responsibilities
- Perform industrial order filling and receiving duties
- Pick, bundle, stage, and prepare pipe and conduit products for shipment
- Consolidate and load materials safely and efficiently
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment, including sit-down forklifts and ride-on pallet jacks
- Use handheld scanners and warehouse operating systems for inventory tracking
- Maintain an organized and safe pipe yard environment
- Assist with general warehouse and outside storage operations
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
- Complete additional duties as assigned
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and completing tasks correctly the first time
- Ability to learn and operate handheld scanners and computer-based inventory systems
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous forklift experience preferred
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Reliable attendance and punctuality required
