Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire production process from start to finish
- Monitor workflow, production schedules, and operational performance
- Identify and resolve production bottlenecks and disruptions
- Lead, coach, and develop production supervisors and team members
- Establish performance expectations and provide ongoing feedback
- Support hiring, training, employee development, and performance management activities
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing principles
- Collaborate with Purchasing, Engineering, Maintenance, Sales, Customer Service, and other departments
- Develop, track, and report on daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs
- Promote a culture focused on safety, quality, accountability, and teamwork
- Ensure production goals are achieved while maintaining operational efficiency
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 4–10+ years of manufacturing leadership experience
- Proven experience managing production teams in a manufacturing environment
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
- Experience utilizing ERP systems and Microsoft Office programs
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies preferred
- Experience within woodworking, cabinetry, millwork, or related manufacturing environments is highly preferred
- Strong people leader who can motivate and develop teams
- Results-driven professional with a focus on operational excellence
- Excellent cross-functional communication skills
- Customer-focused mindset with strong attention to quality and delivery performance
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
