Production Sanitation Supervisor
Job Description
Location: Buttonwillow, CA (Food Manufacturing)
Compensation: $70,000–$90,000 per year + potential bonus
Schedule: Full-time, Onsite, Direct Hire
Hire Up Staffing is partnering with a leading food manufacturing company near Bakersfield, CA, to find an experienced Production Supervisor to join their operations team. This position plays a key leadership role in maintaining production efficiency, quality, and safety standards across multiple processing areas.
Responsibilities

Lead and supervise production employees, providing clear direction, training, and performance feedback.

Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily production operations to meet targets and maintain product quality.

Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, and Logistics teams to ensure seamless workflow.

Enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintain compliance with all safety and food regulations.

Monitor equipment performance and coordinate preventive maintenance to reduce downtime.

Manage inventory of raw materials and packaging to ensure consistent production.
-
Track and report production metrics for management review and continuous improvement efforts.

Conduct daily production meetings and support process optimization initiatives.

Partner with sanitation and quality teams to maintain a clean, compliant, and safe environment.
Qualifications
-
2–4 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing or food production required.

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, production processes, and quality control standards.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Oracle or similar ERP systems preferred.

Proven ability to lead teams, solve problems, and drive operational results in a fast-paced environment.
