Job Posting: Project Manager - Structural Steel Industry
Location: In-office
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 am – 4:00 pm
Salary: $100,000 – $110,000 DOE

Are you an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in structural steel? Join our team at [Company Name], where you'll oversee and coordinate the fabrication, delivery, and erection of all builds. Your expertise will ensure the success of multiple projects while upholding our commitment to quality and efficiency.
Position Overview:
The purpose of this role is to organize and coordinate projects for our clients using effective and efficient methods. As a key leader, you will ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget while meeting client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Coordination: Plan, organize, and schedule activities to meet project objectives.
  • Documentation: Ensure project details are well-documented and communicated to project personnel through tools like Salesforce.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets to maintain financial efficiency.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and motivate staff assigned to projects, ensuring smooth operations based on scope and timeline.
  • Subcontractor Coordination: Plan and oversee subcontracted services as necessary.
  • Communication: Respond to external requests for information and serve as the primary resource for project details, addressing internal and external concerns.
  • Meetings: Plan and participate in various meetings, including turnover, jobsite, and weekly production meetings, to promote project visibility and alignment.
  • Networking: Establish and maintain an active network of professional contacts to support project success.
  • Safety Standards: Promote and maintain safety awareness and behavior standards.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • 10+ years of project management experience in the structural steel industry.
  • Thorough knowledge of fabrication and erection standards and procedures.
  • Familiarity with AISC standards and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Google Suite, Google Drive/Docs/Mail, Salesforce, and Milestones PM+.
  • Strong organizational, communication (written and verbal), and problem-solving skills.
  • A self-starter who is prompt, diligent, and able to exercise good judgment.
