On-Site Assistant Property Manager

Job Description
Starting pay is $21/hr. This is a temporary-to-hire position which means you will begin as an employee of Hire Up Staffing for your probation period. Once converted to a permanent employee the position includes a 2-bedroom 1-bath apartment in the community.
Essential Job Duties:
- Support the property manager in the day-to-day operations of managing the apartment community.
- Work with vendors to improve site appearance
- Work with board of directors in the management of HOA's
- Ensure all work orders and repair requests are processed in a timely fashion
- Help enforce property and associations' rules and regulations.
- Track lease agreements and manage tenant payments ensuring compliance with lease terms.
- Market vacant units and ensure overall property upkeep.
- Previous experience in property management, hotel management, or restaurant management.
- Experience with Appfolio experience highly preferred
- Familiarity with real estate contracts and leases
- Ability to problem solve, multitask, and prioritize
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
- Computer software skills including but not limited to Microsoft Word. Excel, & Outlook
- Professional demeanor and appearance
- A commitment to creating positive tenant and applicant experiences.
